Starting from Sherfield on Loddon, this route takes us out to Rotherwicke, Newnham, Chineham and back to Bramley and SOL. We avoid as much main road as possible, but you may need to ride on a couple of B roads, or where mentioned the A33, so I can mix up the routes, but this will be minimal where possible.
Bike Maintenance is crucial for you and the group to enjoy the ride. On route punctures can and will happen, so please be sure you have at least one spare tube and the tools to fix it. You will have plenty of people willing to help, so no need to worry. Also making sure your bike is well maintained will make the ride easier for you and your bike will last longer. Any questions please ask before or during the ride. I will be happy to help.
Weekend rides will consist of an obligatory Café stop. We usually stop at the Bramley Village Bakery, Bramley or House28 in Sherfield on Loddon. Both take Card, with £5 spend.
Children under sixteen are welcome however they must be accompanied by at least one parent, and should be comfortable with riding on the road in with a group of other riders. Please also be sure they will be able to handle the length of ride on the day.
We will take a number of photos before, during and after the ride which will be posted on the Fat Lad At The Back Facebook pages.
