This is a lovely ride on quiet roads along the quiet road behind Thirlmere. It's ideal for anyone, children, people who would like to return to cycling and people who are a bit nurvous on roads.
We cycle up to and across the Dam, the go across the A591 to The Lodge for refreshments before returning by the same route. Weather permitting we could go down to the shore line and see where people used to live.
