Bourton on the Water has a Christmas tree in the river Windrush, one of the three rivers we pass on this ride so it provides a festive feel and then on the way back we pass Lords of the Manor at Upper Slaughter which has pretty decorations by it's gate.
Our first river is the Dikler which we cross just after descending the Brewery hill. Then we will head towards the Swells and then cross the River Eye at Lower Slaughter. We head out of Lower Slaughter along King Well Lane (a small hill). We reach the Fosse Way and cross it to cycle along side the River Windrush. We can stop In Bourton for refreshments (or at the Farm Park towards the end of the ride). o exit Bourton we head out towards the traffic lights and cycle along the Fosse for a short way before reaching Lower Slaughter, shortly followed by Upper Slaughter. Then it is Buckle Street followed by Eyford, where we can glide down this wonderful valley with just one short climb back to the village.
If we decide to stop at the Farm park this will add on a mile. This ride is a figure of eight. The Fosse will be busier than the other roads we ride on.

This is ride is a circular route.

This ride is mostly on quiet roads with a short section on the Fosse Way.
