Festive Bike Ride   THIS IS A RIDE OPEN TO WOMEN AND MEN Burn off the Christmas turkey with a ride starting at Gateshead International Stadium along the riverside to Wylam and back. Approx 22 miles (time 4-5 hours). Meet at Gateshead International Stadium10:00 on Saturday 28 December.                                                                                                                                        Just after the half way mark we will stop at Tyne United Rowing Club on the riverside for welcoming hot refreshments to warm you up for the journey back at a charge of £3.50 payable on the day. You will be required to bring a road worthy bike, safety helmet, puncture repair kit, suitable clothing, drinks and snacks as required.
