You need to make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get a boarding pass to get on the ferry which you get by showing your Merseyside Bus Pass or Saverway.
If you decide to pay cash at the terminal, I'm almost certain you will pay more!
James Street Station is the closest place where you can purchase the Saverway

Greetings All,
Please note, we provide the eats and drinks which we carry with us.
I will bring 3 bottles of Mulled Wine. Others can also bring some if they wish.

This is for any type of bike and is about 36 Miles (from the ferry)

This route takes us from Seacombe to Brimstage and then back to Seacombe.

You can either use the ferry or the train but you need to be at Seacombe ferry terminal for 1020 at the latest because that is the time the ride starts proper.

Start time at the ferry terminal, Pier Head will be 0945 as the boat leaves at 1000 so don’t be late. If you don’t have a travel pass, it is cheaper to buy a £6.00 ( I think) Saverway style ticket before you get to the ferry. Make sure it covers the ferry because not all do.

Lunch will be at the Brimstage where there are cafés. (I've been told the cafe in the corner makes a really nice soup). I'll also be bringing some more Mulled Wine etc. You can also bring yourself and bike dressed up and seasonal nibbles to share if you wish.
Happy riding,
Vincent
