Farm Cafe ride near Pickmere

We bypass Stockton Heath and follow the road alongside the Manchester Ship Canal. At Grappenhall Village we then take Broad Lane towards Stretton and Appleton Village. Once on the Arley Road, We turn right towards Antrobus and Great Budworth Village. We then Skirt Gt. Budworth and turn right to go downhill to the cafe stop on the outskirts of the village of Pickmere.
Then return journey passes country lanes through Antrobus and Higher Whitley and Hatton Village to the long descent back into Walton.
A slightly longer ride on tarmac and a chance to increase with a few extra miles

A lovely ride through picturesque Cheshire lanes to the Farm Cafe on the outskirts of Pickemere. This an easy going ride and the pace will be relaxed. Please be aware that the additional miles is slightly above our recent rides.

Mostly quiet country lanes passing through small villages. Smooth Road and no off road sections

Helmets are mandatory if U-18 years. Helmets are recommended for everyone else. Warm and waterproof clothing should also be factored in, particularly gloves. A small tool kit with puncture repairs outfit, spare inner tube, or sealant is also recommended. Energy Bars/ Drinks A cycle lock and money/ card if using the cafe. Mobile phone.
