Starting from - The start point is at the cycle racks outside the main Reception of Fareham Leisure Centre (PO16 7JU).
Please arrive at the start point at 09:45, since the ride will start at 10:00 promptly.
There is plenty of free car parking available and there is a cafe and toilet facilities in the Leisure Centre.
Fareham Railway Station is also a short distance away from the Leisure Centre.

The route will start and finish at Fareham Leisure Centre (PO16 7JU) and will proceed initially towards Wallington Village, then to Downend and lastly to Portchester. The route will consist of a mixture of quiet residential roads and off road cycle paths. The return journey will follow a similar route.

This is a short, leisurely ride that may interest novice riders, or those returning to cycling.

The preferred location for the refreshment stop is The Salt Cafe at Wicor Marina, and on a clear day, this location offers excellent views of Portsmouth Harbour and the upper reaches of Fareham Creek.

Cycle helmets must be worn. Please bring a cycle lock to secure your cycle at the cafe and some money for refreshments. Please wear clothing that is suitable for the weather conditions at the time of the ride, noting that the weather conditions can change quickly.
