Family ride to Tredegar Park

Starting from - We start at 14 locks canal centre. There is usually a charge for the carpark, but at the moment the ticket machine is out of order. When it is working you can park responsibly on the residential roads close by.
The canal centre at the carpark has a toilet which you are welcome to use for a small donation in their chamberpot!, NP10 9GN

The ride starts by following the canal for a short stretch before joining the safe routes to school route to Bassaleg school. We will then cross over at the lights at the roundabout and follow the cycle path through the old golf course to Tredegar Park.
All paths are tarmaced. The route is mainly flat and downhill on the way there which means flat and slightly uphill on the way back but nothing too taxing. Suitable for people who haven't been out in a while, just starting to cycle and children 8 and over accompanied by a responsible adult. If your child is younger and are capable of doing the ride please message me.
All riders to please wear a helmet. The coffee kiosk takes contactless as well as cash.
