A short family-friendly ride around the north-side of the harbour, along the metro bus link to Long Ashton and up to Ashton Court Mansion. There’re we will stop for refreshments and a chat before riding down to Bower Ashton and along Festival Way back to Millennium Square.

This is especially aimed at families with younger children but everyone is welcome. The ride will go at a gentle pace that is comfortable for everyone.

This is a 6 mile guided route that will go out at a pace that is comfortable for all and that will allow time to enjoy the sights and chat with other riders. The route starts out in Millenium Square by the Planetarium. If you are travelling by car visit the following link for details of free and cheap parking: https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/cheapest-car-parks-bristol-city-1257368 The route then skirts the north side of the harbour before we link with the new Metrobus Cycleway that takes us cross-country to Long Ashton Park and Ride. From there we head through Ashton Court and return to the harbourside via Festival Way. Finally we skirt the south side of the harbour all the way back to Millenium Square.

The route is mostly on cycle paths and largely traffic free.

We will have a cafe stop at Ashton Court Mansion where you can tell us about the kinds of rides you would like in the future.

All you need is a bike, some money to buy cake ... and a smile!

Everyone is welcome!
