Fairy Hill to Stanley Ferry Canal ride

This is a flat,safe and scenic ride along the canal from Fairy Hill Mooring point at Whitwood, Castleford to Stanley Ferry Marina, just outside Wakefield. We ride all along the canal from Whitwood and then take a left turn before the boatyard where we go left to take us over the bridge (on main road for 200 metres) where we turn left again into the Fayre & Square car park. We go around the back of the pub following the family entrance and up on to the canal side where we can sit outside - weather permitting with our bikes for a drink stop. We then retrace our steps back to Whitwood car park.
