Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. An amazing ride that includes a sail across Windermere on the unique Bike Boat to access the hidden trails of the western lake shore. From here we make our way northwards on the new West Shore Cycle Trail to the impressive Wray Castle, a National Trust gem on the shores of Windermere. With plenty to see at the Castle it will be the perfect time for a breather and refreshments before making our way back to Brockhole Visitor Centre. This route is just perfect for families and occasional cyclists as it is totally traffic-free and fairly flat!
