Exeter Canal and Estuary Trail to Exmouth (and back!)

A largely flat ride of about 22 miles, taking in some of the most pleasant trails in the area. We will be stopping at Darts Farm on the way back for lunch. A shop and cafe are available if you don't fancy packing a picnic! Parking and meeting at the Haven Banks Car Park, we will follow the canal to the intersection of Bridge Road (the Swingbridge). Here we will head up the hill to Countess Wear, then head South East to Topsham. From Topsham we will follow the new Exe Estuary Trail all the way to Exmouth. After a brief trip through residential Exmouth, we will follow the seafront all the way out to the end of Queens Drive, then start our return trip. As mentioned earlier we will be stopping at Darts Farm near Topsham for lunch on the return leg.
