This is the second of a series of training rides, aiming to build up your stamina & strength.
A brisk paced ride. The ride is on road, with some hills. Best suited to those confident to ride in traffic. Road bikes or hybrids with slimmer road tyres, not MTBs.
From the Red Lion, we'll go over the Tollbridge, cross the A27 & head along the Coombes to Upper Beeding, from there we'll head towrads Small Dole, through Henfield, Partridge Green, Ashurst, we can stop at the Tea Rooms at Old Barn nursery for a pit stop, before crossing the A24 & up to Dial Post, loop up to Shipley, and then back down towards Ashington, under the A24, through Wiston, then back along the Steyning Road to the Red Lion.

The ride is open to women only..but is being run alongside the regular Brighton Excelsior CC Sunday club ride, so don't be put off if you see a group of lycra clad roadies...they'll be heading the other way!
It’s a good idea to bring some water, snack to keep you going and money for if we stop at a cafe.
Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
