A pleasant ride along the canal path and the Water of Leith to Balerno.

Making use of the remaining summer evenings, we will set off to enjoy the Union Canal towpath and the Water of Leith Cycle path heading towards Balerno.

We will be cycling on traffic-free path throughout and enjoying the woods along the Water of leith.

Bring a thermos flask and a snack for a short refreshment break in Balerno before we head back into town.

Please wear your usual cycling outfit and bring a jacket, cycling gloves and helmet. Don't forget to bring your bike repair kit.
