Evening Breeze from The Lodge to The Bridge

A steady-paced evening ride to the new cycling/walking bridge over the River Teign. We will take the country lanes from Torquay via Edginswell, Kingskerswell, Decoy and into Newton Abbot Town Quay. Less hilly than our previous rides from this location so suitable for anyone confident on a bike over this distance on quiet roads. We will take a short break at the bridge admiring views of the river before heading back via the same route. With thunder storms forecast this week we will decide on the day if the ride needs to be cancelled, but hopefully not! Wearing a helmet is advisable as we’ll be riding on the road  Please bring a drink with you and a spare inner tube (just in case).  High visibilty clothing and lights are also recommended. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
