Evening Bathpool Wander

 Our starting point is the beautiful setting of Bathpool Park. We’ll cycle through the park itself, past the lake and out the other end and before long we'll be on to cycle paths and the Trent and Mersey canal tow path where we’ll head towards Westport Lake and do a quick lap. From there we’ll follow cycle paths through Tunstall and head home on to the NCN5, a glorious traffic free route back to Kidsgrove before finally heading back in to Bathpool Park. The ride is suited to ladies who want to progress from beginner and increase stamina but the route is mainly flat, there are a few inclines but suitable for all. Cycling on this route is done on tow paths, shared pathways, traffic free cycle paths and a small amount of road. Meet at 18.00pm on the car park for a prompt 18.15pm departure Please ensure your bike is in good working order, tyres are pumped, spare inner tube at the ready and don’t forget the helmet and water bottle. Some of the surfaces are slightly on the rough side so chunkier tyres are a suggestion. Please only book on if can commit to attending the ride as limited spaces! Don’t forget….
