Escape to the country

Starting at the urban greenspace of Lyme Valley you head out to the open countryside and some of the more affluent areas of Newcastle under Lyme. Taking in country lanes and, where possible, avoiding all major roads you'll head to the villages of Baldwins Gate and Whitmore. You'll pass pubs, picnic areas, village shops and craft centres on this circular route heading back to the Velodrome at Lyme Valley.
