A longer Breeze route for sportive or challenge ride training, or for those wanting to keep their fitness up over winter. We will meet at Porteur, the new Cycling cafe on Church Road in Hove, which has lots of safe cycle parking as well as toilets inside, ready for a 10:00 start. We will head out of Hove up Dyke Road then ovber Devil's Dyke. Once we reach Pyecombe, we will follow the route of our popular 'Wayfields Wander' ride, but add an extra loop through Hassocks and along Underhill Lane. If a group is strong or fast, we may include Devil's Dyke at the end rather than returning alongside the A23. This is a stretching route for those riders who have been building up their miles through the year and now want something with an extra challenge. It's a good training ride if you've entered a sportive or challenge ride. Please check your bike before the ride (tyres, brakes, and chain) and bring a couple of spare inner tubes as well as water and snacks. We don't have a planned cafe stop after leaving Porteur! If you have any questions about the ride, contact your ride leader Alison on 07967 094967 or [email protected]
