Erdington to Frankfurt Christmas market

The route into the Frankfurt christmas market will take us through witton lakes, brookvale park, past Aston Villa football ground and onto the blue route into the city centre which is an 8.5 mile journey with a shorter route of 5.5 mile return journey back to the start point, total of 14 miles.

This Sunday 30th October will see the first of our festive rides from The Ride To Positivity Project and will take us to the Frankfurt Christmas market in Victoria Square. The Ride To Positivity Project Sunday rides are very much a social event with a fantastic group of friendly riders who all love to have a great social day on Sundays. There will be lots to see on this ride with all that the Frankfurt Christmas market has to offer from the Christmas gifts on sale to the food and drink and entertainment. We will definitely have another day of belly laughs between the group. The ride will be led by fully qualified British Cycling ride leaders.

The route will be a mixture of roads, Cycle paths and shared paths.

Once at the Frankfurt christmas market we will stop for a wonder around all the stalls and refreshments and friendly social.

Riders are advised To wear a helmet and bring suitable clothing along with you. We also advise that you also bring a spare inner - tube / picture repair lit and tools etc.
