About the route
Starting at Erddig Hall and heading south on country lanes and B roads to Ruabon, taking a cycle path to Cefn-mawr and joining National Cycle Network Route 84 to Chirk. Route goes across the Pontcysyllte aquaduct and follows the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal to Chirk.
