We start at Emmer Green Tennis club car park, and have a gradual climb to Exlade Street via Kidmore End. Passing through Woodcote a huge long downhill to Goring follows. (So far as we have done on previous rides.). From South Stoke, we then cross to the open area of Ipsen all the way over to Nuffield Lane, to climb to Nuffield. (An easier option than “Blue Tin Hill, or equally hard work? ). So after 20 miles we are at the top with just 2 easy miles to our coffee stop at Blue Tin at 22 miles. The remaining 10 miles is not too challenging at all, with just a couple of bumps but mostly downhill back to the start.

Cycle helmets are compulsory. Please check your bike the night before, chain oiled, tyres fully inflated (makes it easier!), and always carry a spare inner tube suitable for your tyre size. And preferable two! And a pump which you know fits your valve.
