Starting point

Lanarkshire
G74 4QA

The ride start in the small staff car park opposite Starbucks where toilets are available.
We will ride up Nerston road. Then enjoy a nice long downhill to the farming museum. Then onto Carmunnock and we will come out onto the cycle path along the expressway and come out at the tax Centre. From there its a fairly flat route along through Stewartfield and back to the start in Kingsgate where Coffee and refreshments are available in Starbucks (open till 10 )

This is a steady paced ride and we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider. It'll hopefully give those wishing to improve fitness the chance to do so on a route with a couple of climbs, but with some nice downhill stretches.

The ride has plenty of opportunities to extend the mileage of the ride as long as we are all in agreement.

If you’re driving to the start point parking is available either in Kingsgate or on Glasgow road just off Dual Carriageway.

We will still need lights front and rear and please dress appropriately if its cold.

In the event of bad weather the ride may be cancelled.
