We will be visiting the Autumn Festival at Ayletts. Fantastic dahlias in the Celebration Garden.
Most of the route is traffic free, a mix of old railway route and tracks through parkland. There will be a bridleway (weather permitting). There are some short on-road sections.
We will take time to enjoy the dahlias and have some refreshments.
Covid precautions: If you have symptoms or think you may have been exposed to the virus, or have recently been abroad (anywhere) DO NOT come on this ride. To continue to minimise risks of transmitting the virus, although regulations permit a larger group, the number of riders is being limited. This helps with maintaining social distancing at stops, junctions etc. To maintain social distance we will not be sharing stuff, so please bring your own pump, spare tube, basic tools – tyre levers, multi-tool. Please check that your bike is roadworthy before you set off to join the ride. We want to avoid having to fix things before or during the ride. Please also bring your own personal items: drink, snack, sun cream (!), hand sanitiser and face covering. We will maintain social distance during the ride and at any stops, ie 2m generally, minimum 1m. If you develop symptoms during the ride you must inform the ride leader (the Breeze Champion). If you develop symptoms or test positive after the ride, you must inform the ride leader, who will notify British Cycling HQ. You can use the ‘Message Ride Creator’ tab in the ride posting on Let’s Ride to contact the ride leader.
This is a flat ride, we will be going nice and slow on the shared paths
