About the route
Starting point
Southern end of Denton Street (Denton Holme, Carlisle) by footbridge and cycle track. CA2 5JY
Free water bottle for everyone courtesy of Palace Cycles! We go out from Holme Head along the traffic-free Caldew Cycleway to Dalston. (Option to turn back here if tired). We'll have a short stop by the river for a snack then go over the White Bridge on quiet back lanes to Unthank, Ratten Row & Durdar before returning via Currock. Gentle hills and light traffic. Suitable for active families and leisure cyclists. Min age 10 years - with adult.
