Starting point
We're starting from Jarrow Town Hall, 1 Wylam Street, Jarrow, Tyne and Wear NE32 3LE opposite Jarrow Post Office and The Viking shopping centre.
Hi everyone,
Please join us for a short 75 minute easy paced cycle ride along the cycle paths of South Tyneside.
We'll start the ride outside Jarrow Town Hall from 6:30pm, so try to arrive ten minutes earlier at 6:20pm. The ride should last approximately 75 minutes, but may take a little longer.
To take part in the ride you will need a reasonable level of fitness, and be able to cycle around 10 miles at an easy to steady pace.
Items to bring with you:
• Your own bicycle with front and rear lights and reflectors.
• Helmet (optional).
• Bicycle repair kit/spare inner tube etc.
• Suitable clothing.
• Water bottle.
Anyone joining us for the ride will be responsible for their own equipment and safety. Although I am a qualified cycle leader and first aider, I can't take responsibility for the actions of other cyclists. That said, I hope to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all involved.
