Easy Ride to The Ivy

This will be an easy paced ride of just under 16 miles, ideal if you haven't been out much and want a moderate ride, or just fancy a social morning outdoors! We will start at the greenway car park just on the south side of Stratford on Avon (this is now a pay and display car park unfortunately). We will set out via the bike path to the Luddington Road, and ride via Welford and Dorsington to the Ivy Vintage tea room at The Barn Antiques centre for coffee and cake. We will have a leisurely return to the start via the Greenway. So....there is one short hill out of Welford which we all go up at our own pace (on foot is fine) and we re-group at the top while admiring the view.

The main requirement is a hybrid or road bike in good working order (do check your brakes and tyres). We will ride partly on The Greenway which is a fairly good surface but can be gravelly in places. A water bottle is needed plus a spare inner tube, and a helmet is a recommended. Please bring a snack and a bit of cash for the coffee stop.
