This Northampton Social Cyclists ride is open for anyone to join

Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

Along the canal to the Waterside Cafe near the White Water Centre and back along the river.

Aimed at those not feeling up to the 20 mile rides more commonly organised by the group this ride will be suitable for cyclists of all abilities with the aim of getting more members of the group involved. Aiming to ride at around a leisurely 10mph but nobody will be left behind.

The route will be almost enitrely on cycle paths or sealed surface tow paths with no hills.

Please wear a helmet and if possible bring kit to repair a puncture or a spare tube. We will make a coffee stop at about half distance so a method of payment should be carried.

All are welcome including older children up to the distance, any type of bike will be suitable.
