The route will take us along the canal to Brackmills and back along the river passing Sixfields lake on the way. There is an option to add a loop around Brackmills and back through Delapre if everyone fancies adding another couple of miles which can be decided on the day.

A gentle paced 8-10 mile meander aimed at newcomers / novices and those just wanting a pootle in the freash air. I aim for a moving speed of around 10MPH but this can be altered to suit the participants on the day & nobody will be left struggling to keep up! The ride should be suitable for all abilities on any sort of bike, older accompanied children up to the distance are also welcome.

The route is nice and flat and almost entirely on cycle paths.

There will be a coffee stop enroute so please bring a method payment, one of the possible stops does not accept cash payment.

Please wear a helmet and carry a spare inner tube of the correct size for your bike along with kit to change a tube if you have it.

We especially welcome newbies!
