Easy like Sunday morning

This is an easy going on road route, suitable for improving in confidence cyclists, who would like to improve their ability to cycle on the road. Although the route is suitable for all types of bike, you may find it harder to cycle on road, if you have a mountain bike. However we cycle to the speed of the group and no one is ever left behind. The route takes us out of the park and ride, along a short section of the one way system, before steadily making our way out to Bradfield via Loxley. We can decide on the day, depending on the ability of the group, which way we go once at Dam Flask in order to make our way in to the village of Low Bradfield, where we stop for refreshments, before retracing one of our route back to the Park and ride. It is a good idea to wear comfortable clothing suited to the time of year, and the weather on the day of the ride. It is also a good idea to bring Spare inner tubes or a puncture repairs kit, incase of any punctures. A drink, money for the Car park and refreshment stop and anything else that you may feel you need to bring that can be carried easily, and not get in the way of the bike. Whilst helmets are not compulsory, they are recommended due to the fact that we will be cycling in live traffic and on semi- rural lanes. Please arrive at the Park and ride at least 15 minutes before the advertised set off time, so you have time to prepare your bike, and take part in the necessary warm up and Mcheck before we set off.
