Easy like Sunday morning

This route is a gentle 10 mile beginners to improving road cycling ride on quiet roads and lanes. Our route will take us from Malin Bridge Park and ride, along the one way system, then we will follow Loxley Road out to the gorgeous setting of Dam Flask. We will then go part way around the Dam and into the village of Low Bradfield, where if needed we can take in a refreshment stop, before continuing around the Dam and back along Loxley Road to the Park and Ride. It may be a good idea to bring a helmet, puncture repair kit and inner tubes, a bike lock, a snack, water and money for parking charges and if we have a cafe stop. It is also suggested you wear comfortable clothing that are suited to the weather, and please wear a cycling helmet. Although helmets are not compulsory, I would recommend wearing one due to the ride being on road and taking in a rural location. The park and ride is chargeable if you do bring your car, and costs about £1 a day, but please check the Travel South Yorkshire website for further details. Please arrive at the Park and Ride 15 minutes before the set off time, so you have time to sort out parking up, preparing your bike, and taking part in a short M check and warm up.
