This mixed group ride is for our AW Let's Carry on Cycling group but is open to anyone who would like to join us for a short cycle at a leisurely pace.

From our starting point at the five-way junction on the North Edinburgh Path Network we take the Trinity path downhill towards the coast and turn Westwards past Wardie Bay and Granton Harbour to Silverknowes Esplanade and on to Cramond.

We'll take a break at Cramond before heading inland on quiet roads to Davidsons Mains where we rejoin the path network, taking the Blackhall, Telford and Ferry Road paths back to our starting point.

An easy ride, mostly on cycle paths with some short sections on quieter roads. Suitable for all bike types. We'll take a leisurely pace and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and catch our breath and take photos.

We'll stop for refreshments at either Cramond or Lauriston Castle.

Please bring with you cash/card if you want to buy anything at our cafe stop (or bring your own), a bike lock if you have one, a spare inner tube for your bike and/or a plan for getting yourself home in case of mechanical breakdown.

We never leave anyone behind!
