Easy Breezy to the Craft Fair

Start at Shincliffe the lay-by off the High St below Betty Bees DH1 2PF

This is the perfect ride if you’re a recent convert to cycling, out of practice or just after a short jaunt in good company. We’ll start at Shincliffe and head over to Coxhoe Village Hall to dip into their monthly craft fair where we can also catch a cuppa. Our route will take the path alongside the A177 to Bowburn, weave our way around the edge of the village and continue along it to Coxhoe. We will more or less return the same way.

We will be riding decent surfaced paths and quiet roads so any bike will cope. It is flattish but not a pancake.

In order for the ride to leave promptly, please be punctual so we can carry out bike checks, etc. prior to us setting off. Please make sure your bike is in working condition and bring a spare tube to fit your tyres. Expect to be out for about 2 hours including our stop - it might take longer depending on how long we stay at the craft fair. Please come suitably dressed.
