Easy Breezy spin to Shawford

From Wolvesey Palace we will cycle along Kingsgate to St Cross hospital and the Viaduct. Continuing onto Compton and Shawford and through Twyford, where we will head back towards Winchester. It is a nice little loop with beautiful views of the countryside.

There are a couple of hills and busy roads, but the ride is mostly on quiet country lanes. We will cycle at an easy pace and nobody will be left behind.

This is a great little ride, if your are new to cycling or not used to cycling in groups.

Things to bring:
- Helmet
- Lights for your bike - in case it's dull
- Suitable clothing for the weather and hi-vis if possible.
- Money and lock for your bike for a tea/coffee stop at the end of the ride
- A spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump just in case of a puncture.

Do check that your bike is roadworthy and your tyres are pumped up!
