Easy Breezy celebrates Women's International Day

Join us on this easy ride through Durham; learning about Ruth First, an anti-apartheid campaigner; Daisy Edis, a pioneering photographer; Mary Gibson, Dora Heslop and Winifred Hindmarsh, the first 3 females to graduate at Durham University and lastly a project celebrating women at Durham Cathedral. We will make our way to the river banks, and enjoy hot drinks and food at the Durham Amateur Rowing Club, before making our way back to the start.

Feel free to dress up or ornate your bike to celebrate this International Day. Embrace your nationality in any form you like, but please remember to ensure it does not compromise your safety on the bike.

As always we highly recommend the wearing of a helmet, appropriate clothing for the time of year and to carry spare inner tubes and tyre levers in the event of a puncture.
