Easter ride from Kelpies to Culross

Parking is available at the Helix Park. There are a limited number of free spaces just inside the entrance and paid parking nearer the Kelpies. There is a match on at Falkirk Stadium at 5.30pm this Saturday and parking is by permit only on match days.

We will meet at the Kelpies and will cycle along the canal, quiet lanes and cycle paths to Culross via Kincardine Bridge. We will stop for a coffee and look around Culross before heading back along the same route.

There is plenty to see along the way and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos.

This is quite a flat ride and avoids main roads, so is a great ride for any one wanting to build up confidence after not riding for a while.

Please make sure that your bike is in good working order, bring a helmet, spare inner-tube / puncture repair kit or a means of getting home in the event of a puncture / mechanical, a bike lock if you have one, but don’t worry I have a small spare one, card or cash payment if you want to buy anything at our café stop. Also bring a water proof in case it rains.
