We will leave The Secret Garden on Miletree Lane before heading up to the River Nene. Here we will follow North Brink towards Guyhirn with views of the river, open fields and apple orchards. As we proceed along North Brink we will pass the old pumping station which has now been converted to a residential residence. After a short time we will turn onto Mouth Lane before making a right turn to begin our return to the Secret Garden. Our returning route meanders through multiple lanes, again with various open fields, hedgerows and orchards alongside us. Once we have returned to the Secret Garden drinks and food will be available.

Route rating

This is a family friendly route taking in the minor roads as we leave the Secret Garden and ride alongside the River Nene towards Guyhirn. As we approach the main road we will turn and meander back to the Secret Garden using the country lanes of Wisbech St Mary offering views of open fields and apple orchards.

The roads are quiet single track country lanes with minimal traffic. Because these are quiet roads they are slightly off the radar as far as highways is concerned so there could be a few pot holes and the roads are uneven in places.

We will be meeting and finishing the ride at the Secret Garden in Wisbech St Mary which offers drinks and food options. There are places we can stop along the way should anyone need a brief rest.

All riders should have a helmet and puncture repair kits/replacement inner tubes.

We never leave anyone behind
