About the route
From the Southern Cross we head south over Dixons Bank to Nunthorpe Village, Gt Ayton, Pinchinthorpe then onto the embankment to Slapewath, Boosbeck and Skelton. Then onto Upleatham, through Errington Woods to New Marske, Plantation Rd and to Kirkleatham Museum for a coffee stop, we return NCN1 to Eston, Marton and the Southern Cross. 28 miles 10/12 mph some hills. This ride is unsuitable for road bikes.
