Durham to Finchale Abbey

Easy 10 mile ride to Finchale Abbey and back from Freemans Quay Leisure Centre, Durham. The ride starts on cycle path and emerges onto housing estate and then quiet country roads until it ends at Finchale Abbey. There are a couple of small inclines on the route, but they're only 50m long so very manageable/or we can push our bikes. Should be completed within 2 hours and does allow for leisurely cup of tea and slice of cake at Finchale.
