BREEZY CROXDALE MIDSUMMER CIRCUIT Starting from the Duke of Wellington Pub, we will pedal down Lowes Barn Bank to join the Bishop Auckland Railway Path in Langley Moor. We will then head across on quiet roads to Sunderland Bridge. The route then climbs up the bank past Croxdale house and through the estate to meet the A181 at Bowburn. We will then follow the road into Durham, up Mill Hill Lane and and stop for a well earned drink and evening refreshment at the Duke of Wellington. This route is suitable for children 10+, however, due to the late start and school night we leave it to parents discretion. This is an evening ride, so do please bring warmer layers as the evening will cool with the dropping sun. Lights would also be advisable. . Please also bring along some money for refreshments, we will be visiting the hostelry for well earned refreshments following this short, but delightful ride.
