Starting point

DH7 7RJ

Broompark Picnic Area, Broompark

Starting at Broompark Picnic Area we will join the Bishop Auckland Railway Path and head across on quiet roads to Sunderland Bridge. The route then climbs up the bank past Croxdale house and through the estate to meet the A181 at Bowburn. We will then follow the road into Durham and stop for a well earned coffee and slice of something at Maiden Castle before continuing up Potters Bank, across the A167 and then along road to the picnic area finish. Recommended for children 10+ due to cycling alongside the busy A181 between Bowburn and Shincliffe Dress warm/appropriate for the weather - it will become cooler in the evening. Please also bring along some money for refreshments. We look forward to seeing you. Jacki, Clare and Sylvia 07795 390871 Follow us on Facebook at Breeze Network - Durham
