Starting point

LU6 1SL

Outside Pedalworks Bike Shop, West Street, Dunstable, Bedfordshire

Dust off your bicycle and join us for a gentle beginners bike ride from Dunstable to Stanbridge and back, finishing at the Travel Hub. The ride picks up The Green Lanes and part of the National Cycle Network Route 6 which is a disused railway line through Sewell before arriving in Stanbridge for refreshment at the local hostelry. This is a nice ride for beginners as most of the route is traffic free and suitable for all types of bicycles although you may want some tread on your road bike wheels. There is an option to vary the route slightly on the way home which adds less than a mile on the distance and is a nice route to share. We can decide this on the day depending on the group ability. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome. We’ll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack.  Dress appropriately for the weather and please bring some money for the cafe stop! Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. For more information on rides please see our Facebook page Breeze Network Luton and Beds. Look forward to seeing you there
