Outside Pedalworks Bike Shop, West Street, Dunstable, Bedfordshire

Come and join us for a gentle ride from Dunstable to Edlesborough for a cup of tea at the village tea shop before returning back to Dunstable to end the ride at The Travel Hub. The ride will take us through Bennets Rec and Cemetery Lane to the Downs where we join up with the Green Lanes for a short stint to reach Totternhoe Hill.  From there we are on quiet country roads to Edlesborough. This is a nice ride for beginners, there is a fairly steep hill to cycle down towards Totternhoe, then back up again at the end but you’ll will be encouraged to take your time and we can always get off and walk! The route is all road or tarmac paths suitable for all types of bicycles.   There is an option to vary the route slightly at Dolittle Lane which adds less than a mile on the distance and is a nice route to share. We can decide this on the day depending on the group ability. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome. We’ll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack.  Dress appropriately for the weather and please bring some money for the cafe stop! Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  For more information on rides in Beds and Luton please see our Facebook page. Look forward to seeing you there!
