Dunstable circular to Ashridge

This ride takes us through the beautiful lanes of the Ashridge Estate.  We start at Pedal Works bike shop inDunstable and ride over the Downs to Studham and Gaddesden Row where we turn right down the hill to LeightonBuzzzard Road.  What goes down must go up so we cross over the valley and head up to arrive at the village ofPotten and on towards Little Heath where, nestled in the woods is a tiny plant nursery and tea shop so bring yourpanniers if you want to buy something special for the winter garden - but bring cash as cards and cheques are notaccepted.  After refreshments we cycle through the woods catching the Autumn colours before returning home via Dagnall and Eaton Bray. This 25 mile route is all road or tarmac paths suitable for all types of bicycles.  Our average speed is 10mph and no one is left behind. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack.  Dress appropriately for the weather and please bring a puncture repair kit. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.
