As some of our current riders have ridden approximately 20 miles, we thought it would be a nice idea to progress this ride with a few more miles...hence the title!! As a further progression, we have also included a couple of slight 'inclines' within the route. No need to panic as the ride will still be at a steady pace and be achievable for most riders ( including any new riders/returnees that wish to join us). Meet 10.30am at Driffield Sports centre...from here we will head towards Nafferton...onto the main road for a very short section...turn left and down the hill into Ruston Parva. The village of Kilham awaits us, after our 1st 'incline' ...we travel thro the village to double back (2nd 'incline) to the main road and across to Harpam...thro quiet roads to the bottom of Burton Agnes, then Gransmoor and Kelk...here we will have our coffee break at The Chestnut Horse ( we have enquired and found out that light snacks and coffee plus cake are on offer, just what we like!). After break we will head towards Lowthorpe, Outgates, Nafferton and back to Driffield. We advice that you wear a helmet and suitable clothing for the time of year. Please carry a spare inner tube and a drink for during the ride. Hope to see you there....Let's get on our bikes and get cycling Lucy and Karen x
