DRIFFIELD FOUR SEASONS BREEZERS: The Road To Good Health Ride!

We will meet at 8.15am for 8.30am Grand Depart from The Feathers Hotel in Pocklington to accompany riders on the last leg of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Public Health Challenge 2016 from Belfast to Bridlington. The final stretch for those taking part is mostly the Way Of The Roses route from Pocklington to Bridlington. We will head up to Kilnwick Percy and across to Millington, with a brief stop in Huggate before we descend the Yorkshire Wolds in Driffield for lunch, after which we will journey east to the finish in Bridlington. The aim of the challenge is to promote cycling as one of the best ways for people to achieve good health and fitness. YOU MAY JOIN THE RIDE ALL THE WAY FROM POCKLINGTON TO BRIDLINGTON or choose from POCKLINGTON to DRIFFIELD or DRIFFIELD TO BRIDLINGTON. This ride is purely to accompany those riders on the challenge. We will conduct our Breeze Ride as normal, therefore please register as a participant beforehand. As with all our rides, we advise you wear a helmet and check the forecast to make sure you have suitable clothing for the ride. Please make sure you bring tools, including spare inner tubes, levers, multi-tool, puncture repair kit, should you have a puncture or mechanical failure on the ride. Please also bring some money for refreshments. Should the ride have to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, we will endeavour to contact all participants beforehand and there will always be a Breeze Champion at each start venue.
