Plymouth Hoe promenade near the statue of Drake

Discover Plymouth with the Plymouth Cycling Campaign. This is one of the occasional rides we organise to encourage people to get out and about on their bikes in Plymouth. This ride will start and finish on the Hoe promenade and go via Armada Way and North Cross, then follow a proposed new cycle route around the back of the station to Central Park, up through Peverell, across to Eggbuckland and on to Efford Cemetery gates, all on quiet roads. From there the route is virtually traffic free along Efford Pathway out to Marsh Mills and back via Saltram. There are a couple of hills but nothing that any reasonably fit child or adult can’t manage, plus the pace will be relaxed to suit the slowest riders and we’ll be making plenty of stops along the way. Everybody is welcome but children need to be accompanied by an adult. View the route: http://www.sportrouteplanner.com/index.php?id=15517#map
