Starting at Durban House Eastwood the D H Lawrence museum on A608. Cycling out of Eastwood on quiet tracks and side roads to the Erewash trail to Shipley boat. 3miles. Then across main Heanor road onto the edge of Shipley park. Pass reservoirs up into Mapperly village then onto Stanley Common and Dino's Italian coffee shop, for refreshments. Retracing are wheel tracks to Eastwood. Refreshments and toilets are also available at Durban House.
