About the route
Starting point
Leggers car park, Savile Town marina, Dewsbury, WF12 9BD. (Free parking on site)
Along canal, riverbank & bridleway to Lower Hopton. On greenway, riverbank & bridleway to Brighouse. On canal to Salter Hebble & Sowerby Bridge. Lunch Stop. Return via same route to Lower Hopton then onto Calder Vally & Spen Vally greenways back to starting point. Quite a lot of the ride is surfaced & most is off road. The ride is guided by Gerard Mitchell & myself. Reasonable pace & mainly level ride.
