About the route
Starting point
Leggers Inn, Savile Town Marina, 66 Mill Street, Dewsbury, WF12 9BD. (Café & free on site parking)
Onto the Spen Vally greenway & local roads to Lower Hopton. Travel on the calder vally greenway to Bradley. Follow the canal to Aspley Marina then local roads to join the Huddersfield canal. Pass through Milnsbridge & Slaithwaite to Marsden. Lunch stop. Option to go another mile to Standedge Tunnel End. Return via same route with option to join cycle route near Huddersfield town centre. Route is mainly off road.
