A sociable pre-christmas ride on tarmac surface, suitable for road bikes or mountain bikes.  The ride is out to Kings Tree and back, approximately 11 miles in total, a scenic and almost traffic free route (there is a tourist bus only), with no hills. The ride would be ideal for those new to cycling, with some basic fitness, or those who are lacking in confidence riding in a group. Newcomers to Breeze rides are very welcome as are under 16s so long as they are accompanied by an adult who is also riding.

It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up.  Dress appropriately for the weather: in cold weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed, a pair of gloves may also be welcome. Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential.  We'll do a bike check and a warm up before we set off. Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments at the cafe at Fairholmes.
